Three girl students of BHU have been selected in the UP Youth (Under-21)

Three girl students of Banaras Hindu University have been selected in the Uttar Pradesh Youth (Under-21) National Volleyball Team. Banaras Hindu University’s B.A. Second year students Nandini Yadav, Upasana Yadav and B.Com third year student Tanu Mishra have been selected in the Uttar Pradesh Youth (Under-21) National Volleyball team.

In the Youth (Under-21) National Volleyball Coaching Camp, 18 potential girl students were selected from all over Uttar Pradesh. Whose coaching camp was held from 01 April 2022 at Pilibhit Stadium. After the coaching camp, the final selection of 12 players was done today for the Uttar Pradesh Youth (Under-21) National Team, in which three girl students of Banaras Hindu University Nandini Yadav, Upasana Yadav and Tanu Mishra have been selected in the 12-member team. The selection of the youth (under-21) national Volleyball team of Uttar Pradesh was held on 22 March 2022 in Kanpur.

Under the aegis of Volleyball Federation of India, the 23rd National Youth (Men and Women) Volleyball Championship – 2022 is scheduled to be organized by Uttarakhand Volleyball Association in Rudrapur from 11 to 16 April 2022.

Upasana, Nandini and Tanu are national players and are currently undergoing training at Amphitheater Volleyball Court under the supervision of Assistant Director Mr. Robin Kumar Singh (Volleyball). On his selection, the Vice President of the University Sports Board, Banaras Hindu University, Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, General Secretary Prof. Abhimanyu Singh and Mr. Robin Kumar Singh, Assistant Director Volleyball along with other officials have congratulated the three girl students on this achievement.
