बीएचयू : एफ.एम.एस., बी.एच.यू. कैम्पस प्लेसमेण्ट नई ऊँचाइयों पर

बीएचयू(वाराणसी) । फैकल्टी ऑफ मैनेजमेण्ट स्टडीज, काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के प्लेसमेण्ट के शुरूआती चरण ने सफलता के नये पैमाने स्थापित किया, जिसमें नामी गिरामी कम्पनियों ने भाग लिया और एम.बी.ए., एम.बी.ए. इण्टरनेशनल बिजनेस और एमबीए एग्री-बिजनेस के 2020-2022 बैच में सभी क्षेत्रों की प्रख्यात कम्पनियों ने विभिन्न प्रोफाइल की पेशकश की।

एफएमएस (आईएम), बीएचयू के प्लेसमेण्ट समन्वयक डॉ. आशुतोष मोहन ने बताया कि हाल ही में एक प्रमुख आईटी कम्पनी, इन्फोसिस द्वारा चलाए गए प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव में 45 छात्रों को सहयोगी और वरिष्ठ सहयोगी सलाहकार पदो ंके लिए चुना गया था। महामारी के नकरात्मक प्रभावों के बावजूद, एफएमएस बीएचयू में अच्छी संख्या में कम्पनियों ने भाग लिया, जिन्होंने लगभग 80ः छात्रों का प्लेसमेण्ट के पहले चरण में ही चयन किया।

प्रोफेसर एचपी माथुर, डीन, एफएमएस बीएचयू ने उल्लेख किया कि इस साल प्लेसमेंट सीजन में परामर्श क्षेत्र में दी जाने वाली भूमिकाओं की संख्या में भारी वृद्धि देखी गई क्योंकि सीजन के अन्य प्रमुख नियोक्ति आईबीएम, जिन्होंने सलाहकार की भूमिका के लिए ग्यारह छात्रों का चयन किया और विप्रो ने एसोसिएट कंसल्टेंट और बिजनेस एनालिस्ट पदो ंके लिए सात छात्रों को ऑफर दिया।

प्रो. माथुर ने यह भी कहा कि बीएमएसआई कम्पनियों में आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने अलग-अलग भूमिकाओें के लिए छब्बीस छात्रों का चयन किया है और उज्जीवन एसएफ बैक ने नौ छात्रों का चयन किया है। अन्य बीएफएसआई कम्पनियों में आईसीआईसीआई प्रूडेंशियल एएमसी, आईसीआईसीआई प्रूडेंशियल लाइफ, यस बैंक, एसबीआई लाइफ इंश्योरेंस, डिजिट जनरल इंश्योरेंस इत्यादि शामिल है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि इस साल औसत वार्षिक पैकेज में बढ़ोत्तरी हुई है जो पिछले साल के लगभग 7 लाख रूपये (2021) से बढ़कर लगभग 8.5 लाख रूपये का हो गया है। इस साल का सबसे ज्यादा सालाना पैकेज 18 लाख रूपये है। इसके अलावा, कैम्पस ने एल एण्ड टी फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज, अदानी विल्मर, रिलायंस रिटेल, इमामी एग्रोटेक, प्लैनेटस्पार्क, मैटिक्स फर्टिलाइजर्स, श्रीराम बायोसीड जेनेटिक्स, पान सीड्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, दृष्टि फाउण्डेशन, दीहाट जैसी कम्पनियों के विविध प्रोफाइल को आकर्षित किया है, जो चयनित छात्रों को आकर्षक वेतन दे रहे हैं।

एफएमएस बीएचयू के निदेशक प्रोफेसर एस. के. दूबे ने छात्रों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि शीर्ष बी स्कूलों में अपनी स्थिति बढ़ाने के लिए संकाय हर साल प्रभावशाली कदम उठा रहा है। यह संगोष्ठियों, सम्मेलनों, अतिथि व्याख्यानों और मजबूत पुराछात्र संगठन के माध्यम से छात्रों और उद्योग के बीच नियमित समन्वय भी सुनिश्चित करता है जिससे छात्रों को खुद को अच्छी तरह से तैयार करने में मदद मिली है। सत्र 2020-2024 के लिए प्रबंधन कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश लेने का उत्साह, संकाय में उत्कृष्ट प्लेसमेंट के कारण, बढ़ गया है। आवेदन करने की आखिरी तारीख 29 जनवरी है, जो नजदीक आ रही है।

यहां यह भी उल्लेखनीय है कि कई कम्पनियों ने संकाय के पाठ्यक्रम के अंतिम महीनों में भी छात्रों के चयन के लिए उत्साह दिखा रही हैं। संकाय में न केवल पाठ्यक्रम के वरिष्ठ छात्र प्लेसमेण्ट में नई ऊँचाइयों को छू रहे हैं वहीं जूनियर बैच भी अपने ग्रीष्मकालीन इंटर्नशिप प्लेसमेण्ट के मामले मंे बहुत अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर रहा है।

Booming Placements at FMS BHU

The Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University has had a legacy of securing stellar placements, both in terms of the compensation and wide variety of profiles on offer. The very initial stage of placements witnessed a commendable season with a marquee of renowned companies participating and offering coveted profiles across sectors to the 2020-22 Batch of MBA, MBA International Business, and MBA Agri-Business.

Dr. Ashutosh Mohan, Placement Coordinator of FMS(IM), BHU told that in a recent drive by a major IT company, Infosys forty-five students were picked up for associate and senior associate consultant positions. Despite the negative impacts of the pandemic, FMS BHU had a good number of companies placing about 80% of the students in the first leg of the placements.Prof. H. P. Mathur, Dean FMS BHU mentioned that this year the placement season witnessed a steep rise in the number of roles offered in consulting areaas other major recruiters of the season were IBM, selecting eleven students for the role of workday consultant, and Wipro offered to seven students for associate consultant and business analyst positions.

Prof Mathur also said that among BFSI companies ICICI Bank hired twenty-six students for different roles and Ujjivan SF Bank has selected nine students. Other BFSI companies Included ICICI Prudential AMC, ICICI Prudential Life, Yes Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Digit General Insurance.

It is worth mentioning the facts about the recruitments this year is a hike in the average annual package that has gone up from about Rs 7 lakhs (2021) to around Rs 8.5 lakhs this year. The highest annual package of this year is Rs 18 lakhs. In addition, the campus has attracted diverse profiles from companies like L&T Financial Services, Adani Wilmar, Reliance Retail, Emami Agrotech, Planetspark, Matix Fertilizers, Shriram Bioseeds Genetics, Pan Seeds Private Limited, Drishti Foundation, Dehaat etc., which are offering attractive salaries to selected students.

While congratulating the placed students Prof SK Dubey, Director FMS BHU stated that faculty is making impressive strides every year to escalate its position amongst top B schools. It also ensures regular coordination between students and the industry through seminars, conclaves, guest lectures, and strong alumni network that have helped the students prepare themselves well. The enthusiasm to join the management programs for the session 2022-2024 has surged owing to the excellent placements in the faculty. The last date for applying is 29th January, 2022 which is fast approaching.

It may be mentioned here that several prestigious companies are lined up as well for the students, in the concluding months of their course. It is not only the senior students of the course who are elated, but the junior batch is also doing exceedingly well in terms of its summer internship placements.
